Stopped by a few Apple stores around Dallas this morning (I live out in a little town you've only heard of if you've watched "Smokey and the Bandit")
All out.
Stopped by an "authorized retailer" (non-corporate store), asked, the lady disappears and comes back with a white box.
It was a 16GB, one of two they had gotten late Friday night. What I wanted was a 16GB for the Boss & a 32GB for me, but screw it, I figured I can live with a 16GB too & save the $100 for important things like... Cases?
Anyhow, the boss and I are happy, no problems with the phones. We even went back to the Applestore and used their wifi to try out FaceTime. Very nice.
Btw, I watched a kid walk right into a BestBuy mobile and get the only 32BG the had ~ 11:00. So they're still out there in ones and twos.
