AT&T bandwidth, SXSW, and iphones

To accommodate this demand for mobile data and voice communications at SXSW, we're actually working [Sunday] afternoon to add capacity to our cell sites in downtown Austin.

Try doing this all over the country. I have not been happy with the AT&T 3G service since I got my phone a year ago.

AT&T needs to work on fixing this problem everywhere as soon as possible or they will be loosing a customer whose service agreement ends in december (me)

I'm not sure why AT&T didn't see this coming. Hello? This convention happens every year!

I'm sure it's worse this year than ever before, but come on...are you telling me that there wasn't a huge use of the network in 2008? This was a big surprise to them this year all of a sudden?
