Anyone know what's in the new carrier update that went out today? Version 14.1..

Someone who's jailbroken needs to do a diff on the new and the old files....

Besides the government and amber alerts, I can now use FaceTime over cellular. I have the grandfathered unlimited plan so I'm happy about it. If it matters any I'm in Houston using an iPhone 5.

Kinda cool actually. But, oddly, my ipad got the carrier update, but doesn't have the notification options available.

Also, I can't disable presidential alerts? Really? "Thanks, Obama!"
I didn't get the update for my iPad. Strange you got it.

My iPhone 5 did not get it automatically; I had to connect it to iTunes then the update came over. My wife's 4S had it already when I went to connect it to iTunes. Go figure...

My third gen iPad (wifi and cellular) did not get it. Even when I connected it to iTunes; still nothing. At least we both have it on our iPhones now.

Are running the iOS7 beta? I believe the 14.5 upodateis for iOS7 beta.

Strangely I keep getting this notification but it is not being applied. Do I have to connect to itunes for the 14.1 update to happen?

I am jailbroken on 6.1.2.

Thanks for finally bringing emergency alerts to the iPhone, AT&T!
Now, all I need is an earthquake warning system.

I just got it too a few hours ago.
No idea if there's any changes.

Here you go; a diff of the previous one that I had and 14.1: http://paste.debian.net/hidden/198ed7c1/

The main change is the broadcast alerts (AMBER, Emergency and Presidential.) It also looks like T-Mobile received a similar update, as did Verizon.

And here's a diff of 14.1 and 14.2, which is a bit shorter, with only one minor change: http://paste.debian.net/hidden/8f8cb58e/

Looks like the only real change there is the addition of a key called "MinimumDeviceCategorySupported", with a value of 10, on my 4S.

Also, if you want to enable the third alert toggle in Settings -> Notifications, heres how.
