Ok, I was in reserve line @ 6:15am @ northpoint (Alpharetta, GA). When I got into the store @ 12ish, the nice apple employee was inputting my info and his computer said that I did not qualify for the full upgrade:eek:, which I most certainly did! After having two AT&T staffers (one manager @ apple and one on phone from customer service) try to fix the issue with my account for 45 mins., the end result was that they gave me a $200 credit on my AT&T bill (Great, my employer pays my bill ). So I did have to pay the $499 price. I was so shocked and so were the employees. They could clearly see on my account history that as of June 20, 2010, I qualified for the full upgrade. But somehow a system sweep the night before changed it to November 21, 2010.

(I had my 3gs stolen over Memorial Day weekend and as a temp fix, I got a go phone and the AT&T people tied it to my existing account and removed my iphone unlimited data plan (idiots). They assured me that the temp go phone wouldn't affect my upgrade date and as of June 23, my AT&T account online was still showing that I was a 3gs customer with upgrade date of June 20.

Did anyone else have this sort of issue, with AT&T changing the upgrade date back for NO reason??

I was so shocked by the hiccup and annoyed that I really didn't play with my phone yesterday. But I hope to make that up this weekend.:D
