This is my main streaming service for live TV. There is an iPad app for it but couldn’t find it in the Vision Pro App Store. I discovered that when I tried to add it as my TV provider in settings. Looks like they went out of their way to opt out too. At least it works in Safari.

Just a rant. That is all. Carry on.

I haven't tried the youtubetv app, but I have fired it up with safari and it worked the same way as yours.

The Safari way of doing things isn’t terrible. Just some extra steps to get to it. Only thing that bugs me is, I believe, if you add a TV provider in settings, it allows all the other streaming services to check if you're already paying for a service and will provide the content based on the TV provider’s subscription.

Same deal here but I was happy to discover the website works and lets you watch live TV plus what’s on your DVR. As for subscriptions I have them all independently of the TV service so I have accounts for Max, Paramount+, etc. which isn’t a big deal as I’ve got separate accounts for Disney+, Hulu. Amazon video as well but an app would be nice if it wasn’t optimized for the device.

Do you also you DirectTV or something else?

I don’t know why they wouldn’t just port the app over from the iPad. I don’t think they have a petty battle going on with Apple like the others.

I don’t have the DirectTV satellite service but I’m a DirectStream TV customer and use that in place of the cable provider in our area. We used to have both Charter Spectrum and AT&T U-Verse available as options in our area but AT&T no longer does new U-Verse installs so when my wife and I moved a year ago I gave AT&T Internet plus DirectStream TV a try and got a discount before AT&T spun it off for subscribing to both packages along with my AT&T wireless account and the service itself is every bit as good as cable or U-Verse every was but it’s just as expensive as a our cable bill would be now that initial two year service discount is gone.

Yeah, sorry that’s what I meant. The streaming service, not the satellite. Being a huge hockey fan, DirectTV Stream was the only service that had both the NHL Network and the MSG Network for local games in my area so I really had no other option.

I have the Premiere Package (Not sure it’s still an option anymore but when I got it, it was the top tier) with every add-on (except for the Spanish channels) and it’s expensive. Way more than I was paying for Verizon FiOS which I why I’m pretty annoyed that I can’t add it as my TV Provider through the AVP.
