Ok so basically my mom opened a brand new AT&T account with 4 lines, originally I opened it but I had to make a deposit for the fourth. My mom has excellent credit so AT&T waived the fee for the fourth so now the account is under Hers. I am an employee for target and I get 20% off AT&T (in this case I get 20% off the family plan) now before my mom opened up an account I called AT&T and asked them if my discount can be applied even though my mom is the account holder they said yes. As long as I am a authorized user under the account it should be no problem all I have to do is bring in a paycheck into a store and they can apply the discount. But when my mom opened the account in store the rep said its not possible unless I am the account holder. Can my discount still be applied?
