Ordered through what I believe is AT&T's early upgrade options this morning. I ended up paying $445 for the iPhone 5, and I'm just wondering what kind of contract I signed with AT&T?

I haven no plans to switch carriers right now, unless they remove my unlimited data or try to force me out of it. But I'm wondering what the length is of the contract I just signed, since it looks like I got a partially subsidized price.

Does anyone know how this works? I bought it through Apple.com and didn't see any information regarding what my contract length was extended to. I've had the 4S since launch day, so I have to assume AT&T considers this as 1 Year of my contract fulfilled.

It's a normal 2 year contract (not sure if that starts today or on the 21st though).

Gotcha, I was hoping it was just 1-year extension for early upgrade, but I guess that's them making the money back on the phone (plus extra I'm sure).

well technically they are still paying on your upgrade from last year :)

All they offer is a 2 year contract extension.:)
