AT&T Email Plan

I noticed some people have an SBCGlobal email. Since they are owned by AT&T it got me wondering. Why AT&T email doesn't come with the AT&T iPhone plan? You would think that since we are paying for the data plan with AT&T and the iPhone does email, that an email address would be included from AT&T.

I noticed some people have an SBCGlobal email. Since they are owned by AT&T it got me wondering. Why AT&T email doesn't come with the AT&T iPhone plan? You would think that since we are paying for the data plan with AT&T and the iPhone does email, that an email address would be included from AT&T.

Technically, they are two separate companies under one corporate banner.

If you have a @yahoo address, its the same thing as having an @sbcglobal, @att.net, etc.

So then how do I get an SBCGlobal email address?
