AT&T folks...help!

Looking to potentially buy the new 6s plus outright.

First question....when buying from Apple site do I choose the option to "replace my iPhone" and buying it full price but it's an AT&T phone? Does that mean it isn't unlocked?

2nd question is: I have the old style plan, the talk/text ($60) and the unlimited data ($30). If I go the buy outright method and no longer under contract....how can I get my bill down? I've heard there is money added to the plan when you have a subsidized phone pricing.

General consensus is that paying full price (no commitment) for the phone means it will be unlocked.

For your second question, you would not get any discount with your current voice/data plans. The discounts are only for the Mobile Share plans. If you changed your data/voice plans (but you would lose your unlimited), then yes you could get a discount.
