I took my iPad 2 to the AT&T store to activate my 3G and the lady said they are giving you 1 month free of 3G. So I got 2 months of service for $25 or 4gb.

Anyone else get this free month?

I thought this was the case only if you signed up for a contract? Pretty sure I read this last week

Does this apply to only the iPad 2? Or also to the iPad 1? I just bought a used 3G on ebay and am trying to decide between the $15 or $25 plan.
