My AT&T iPhone 7Plus starting giving me an "Invalid SIM" message a few nights ago. Rebooting the phone cleared the problem for a bit but it keeps coming back. I updated to 11.2, and Reset Phone settings and network settings. Its fine for an hour or so, then back to "Invalid SIM." Any ideas? I haven't dropped the phone recently. I guess the SIM card could be going bad (?)

Yea the next course of action would be to visit your nearest ATT store and tell them you're getting Invalid SIM periodically on the phone. My guess is your SIM card is malfunctioning for whatever reason.

take the sim out and wipe it down. blow gently into the empty sim slot. put the sim back in. basic triage.
