Getting an iPhone 4 today, it's US AT&T locked. I live in Canada and just plan to use Wifi in our prodution testing, so I just wondering if I can activate it without AT&T SIM or use whatever SIM we have? (no phone calls and 3G of course :()

You have to use an AT&T SIM to activate. The Sim itself doesn't even need to be active.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Wow, this is too bad. Need to find one. Pay as you go SIM works?

EDIT: Oh, do I need AT&T tower signal too? If yes, there will be no easy way for me now. Too bad..
