Just to confirm guys. If I press cancel account later, does the data plan I've already bought stay and it just won't auto renew or does it delete my data plan straight away and my account 60 days later?

It will just cancel auto renew. You'll still be able to use the data you bought for the month until you use your allotment or it expires.

Thats great thanks.

Just got to the USA for holiday and didn't want it continuing when I got home.

Didn't seem to have any problem using my UK amex like many have reported with their Visa cards. It seems Amex does not verify address with AT&T.

Yes :p In an LTE area at the moment. Pretty damned fast but not as fast as I'd imagined. Not a huge difference to the DC-HSPA+ I've seen on 3 in the UK.

nice! what were you speeds on your DC-hspa+? is it close to the advertised 42mbps?

i get 50mbps down 25 up on my lte here in austin tx,/dallas tx. but then again we do house At&t's corporate, so coverage here is gernerealy broader/faster than most att service through out the us.

Well when I was on the M25 (One of the enabled areas) I hit 25mb/s down and for 3G thats pretty amazing. Get 31.5mb/s down here but ping is much better.
