At&t Ipad roaming

I noticed on my ipad im unable to get the new plans when i inquire at&t about this they tell me since it's session bassed im unable to get them however when i go to at&ts website i notice this "DataConnect Pass Global Packages* are available in the same data allotments as the Data Global Add-On Packages and are good for 30 days". Somthings weird with this picture.

Both are available on the iPad. When you sign-up for DataConnect, just enter your iPads IMEI number (Cellular versions have this number, WiFi models do not) and ICCID. Choose your plan and continue!

However, from the iPad, you can only select the iPad PrePaid plans, which (I think) automatically renew every month.

Update: I Looked into it a bit more, the appear to be the same thing but with different names.
