iPhone 12 Pro At&T Iphone 12 Pro Activation

Does anyone know how to activate the new sim card came with the iphone 12 pro? I ordered from att, and I now have to use my old sim card in the new phone. I only got one piece of paper saying go to att.com/getstarted, but I don't know how to activate the new sim card. I put the new sim card into my new iphone 12 pro but there is no service, I restarted and still no service. Does anyone have the same issue? Thanks a lot for your help!

Copy the SIM number down from your new SIM card that came in the iPhone 12, long number that starts with an 8. 20 digits I believe. re-insert SIM card and call 1-800-331-0500 and when recording starts hit 0 to be connected to tech support. Also have the iPhone 12 IMEI #, Model & S/N ready. Also have your AT&T account numbers & PIN. I just had my new iPhone 12 Pro activated by above method. My advice is be polite and patient. Good luck.
