I had a problem 2 upgrades back when my online upgrade return sat at a Fed Ex office 10 miles from AT&T for weeks and got delivered after the return cutoff time so they just shipped it back to me saying I shipped it back too late. The store could not help with an online return and no matter how far up the chain I went by calling and getting them to check their own tracking numbers to show it just sat there could I get them to budge. I stay with AT&T because they still give me my old employers discount.

Has anyone done an IN STORE pre order? I am trading in a 12 PRO MAX and the $1000 offered is too good to pass up. We have only one ATT store on my island so it is my only option.

Thanks.

First I would never do an trade in online. Second I’ve done upgrades and trade in at the store with no issues.

Yes, but my question was whether the store offers the same trade in value as online. It can take 2-3 hours to get my turn in our local store to ask directly. I have also done great in store upgrades but usually months after the release and not a pre order.

I can confirm you get the same deals if you walk into the store. I got really lucky today. Our local store is very hit or miss on Sundays and is usually closed but they started opening again a few weeks ago. I walked into a totally empty store. I was happy to find that they will ship the phones to our house where we can activate them ourselves and then I just need to drop off the old phones to get the credit applied. I love that they have their own brand of screen protectors now that they just swap out in store if they crack (the other brands had too many hoops to jump through). I picked up a case for my husbands phone but will be going naked for mine and just use a sleeve for my pocket or packs.

My blue titanium will ship as early as thursday but the other colors will take up to 3 more weeks so they must be more popular.
