AT&T iPhone 4 owner, moving to pre-order Verizon iPhone 5

So, what exactly do I need to keep my number and port it to verizon with a pre-order? Will I be able to do this through Apple tonight at 3AM or am I going to be in Verizon website hell? Or do I have to go to a VZ store?

Next, is there any way I can transfer my account to a dummy or cheap phone, port the old number to a new iPhone, and then transfer the unlimited AT&T to someone else? Greedy I know.

Bit confusing, but the umlimited data is CONNECTED to the PHONE LINE (not the phone). Only way to "transfer" it is to transfer the entire phone account with line intact - change of financial responsibility.

Figured. Oh well, that's $100 less a month for those asshats. Verizon 64gb ordered, put in all the transfer details, will see how badly it gets screwed up.
