It was weird i just tried putting in an international micro sim and i started getting all the text for that sim right before the apple logo came and said please insert valid sim or whatever...god I was so excited thinking it would work lol

AT&T iPhone 4s, put in international Sim & started getting text

This is a known "bug". There is actually supposedly a way to get it to work with the international sim and it will remain that way until next reboot. THat may have been debunked though. I didn't pay the best attention since it didn't really effect me.
