Hello all,
I had bought an AT&T iPhone 4s from Swappa almost two years ago to use as an iPod, and I never had a problem with it in terms of it displaying the carrier Verizon under the Settings app (even though it could never actually run on Verizon, but I just used an old Verizon SIM to activate the 4s).
Lately, though, I’ve noticed that the phone insists the carrier is Vodafone and doesn’t use US phone number formatting anymore, but uses something like 1234567890 instead of 123-456-7890. This means that my contacts don’t work right, and people’s names in iMessage don’t display right either. Anyone know what the problem is?
