Hello, I have an AT&T iPhone 4S and I'm planing on moving to Australia. Will I be able to use it on there networks? I don't want to do the roaming thing or international plan AT&T has, I would like to activate on an Australian wireless network like Vodafone. Thanks for the help.

Only if you have it unlocked ... and any update may break it.

Might be best to sell it, and buy again in Australia.

Unfortunately AT&T is one of the only iPhone carriers that don't unlock their phones. So basically this means you will not be able to use it on an Aussie network.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I will sell it and buy again. Vodafone's pricing structure is a bit weird tho, am I understanding correctly that they include the cost of the phone in the monthly bill? Meaning there is no upfront cost?
