Quick question, is the iPhone 4 still sim-locked in the US? my mate is going out to the states next week and was wanting to pick one up as it's cheaper than the UK.

it you get it from AT&T store (without contract) it will be $699 + it will be locked to AT&T which means you cant use it with any other carrier.. you might be better off getting non-us version from some place else
cheers. like i said, not for me, for a friend, who was going over to the states next week, will let her know. i have mine.
AT&T, GSM, was just making clear what i meant. in the UK our iPhone's aren't locked when buying them outright...
