I wanted know if someone tried this, I have a family plan with 4 lines and two of my lines are contract-free. (unlocked already) All my phones are iPhones. But for two of my lines are still in contract which they end this year. One is a iPhone 4 and the other is a iPhone 3gs. I was wondering can I just switch sim cards to the contract free lines and have att unlock my remaining iPhones? Has anyone tried this? Thanks!

I'm sure AT&T knows which phones are still on a contract. It might be possible if you did this over an extended period of time, thus making AT&T think you ready did change out your phones on a permanent basis.

Plug your sim into any sim with in minutes at&t know's what device you have it in. Try it pop your 4s sim in a iPhone 4 then log into your at&t account it will show your Sims in a i4 but hey you can dream.
