AT&T iPhone WiFi Hotspot Question

I just switched over to ATT, and noticed that we get free access to ATT Hot spot locations. I'm going to Starbucks tomorrow to wait a few hours for someone, and was wondering if anyone knows if that I can use that access to get on my Macbook Pro? Or is the free access only limited to the iPhone?

just the phone, unless you happen to also be an at&t uverse or dsl customer, for example.
