Carrier AT&T Just send me a notification saying I can call over WIFI now

Not really sure how to test it, I tried taking out my sim card but it would not let me place a call.

Sounds like they've enabled wifi calling. In which case in the top left corner it would say "Wi-Fi" after your carrier name like this. You have to go into the settings to activate it. You still need your SIM card in the phone as it's still routed through the carrier.

No Continuity or Handoff

Wifi calling is great but it turns off Continuity and Handoff :S
I am on T Mobile.
