Carrier At&t Next iPhone trade in

I recently got a replacement from the Apple Store. Does anyone know if I'm still eligible to trade it in to At&t even though it's technically not the same phone? Tried asking At&t via chat but they don't seem to know the answer.

It doesn't matter as long as it is the same make and model.

From the FAQ on the AT&T website: "Once you have reached upgrade eligibility, you can trade in your eligible smartphone (or one of the same make and model) in good physical, and fully functional, condition to upgrade."
