AT&T Next: Pre-order from AT&T site or Apple Store?

Alright, so, if it's true about AT&T Next users in NYC (like me) going to have problems with preorders from Apple store, would it be better to pre-order from AT&T? Or Best Buy? Unless the rumors aren't true about Next not working to pre-order.

Thoughts? (Sorry if its like the 3rd thread about this)
