So I signed up for the next program last year when I bought my iPhone 7plus. I was ready to use the program and purchase a iPhone 8plus,thinking my monthly bill would only go up $4.
Then I find out that they gave me a $30 monthly credit when I signed up and if I trade this phone in I lose the credit. So if I purchase the new phone my bill goes up $34. While I appreciate the credit, I feel kinda screwed. I signed up for the program to get a new phone every year without my bill going up much.
Have any of you ran into this issue?

In this case, I think you'll need to follow up with AT&T directly on this. I don't think there is much help we could offer on the forums to rectify the situation. That being said, I haven't heard of this $30 monthly credit specifically but i know they offer similar deals on other plans like the unlimited plans. I would think since the phone price for next is separate from the service price, you wouldn't lose that credit unless your plan changed. I just renewed my wife's phone using NEXT every year and the only additional charge was the few dollars more for the phone and the $25 upgrade fee.
