AT&T or Apple on launch day?

So I couldn't pre-order my 4S

Do you guys reckon it would be better to wait at AT&T or Apple on launch day? AT&T seems to be unaware of what they'll actually have and I got the impression that stores (my store anyway) would primarily only have stock of the pre-ordered phones?

So, better bet?

Probably AT&T if you don't plan to go extra early.. They may not have many but I don't expect it will be as crowded as quickly as the Apple stores will be.

If you don't mind going earlier Apple would be the safest bet to not hit an OOS issue.
