same as apple or unspecified? im getting fed up with apple and ready to just go to bed

AT&T states in their pre-order fine print stuff that it's not guaranteed on June 24th, but from what I've heard from all past 3GS pre-orders on the forums is that they got them on the release date. So I hope it remains the same! :)

I preordered from att last year for the 3gs and it arrived on launch day via fedex. I did try to order by apple because apple would not be as limited in supply as att would be. I got a printout for a successful order, but no email yet.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

Apple doesn't garentee 24th deliveries either. They just try to. Weird though. My only option was free overnight shipping. Might be because I never got the 3GS.

My 3GS did show up on June 19, which was launch day last year. It was delivered by Fed Ex that afternoon sometime (don't know the exact time because the Fed Ex guy threw it up onto the porch and didn't knock or ring the doorbell or require signature, apparently.) But it was sometime prior to 3:30 pm.

I think early pre-orders from either place are going to arrive on the 24th. To be honest, as long as I get one the first week I'll be happy.

Let's not invest too much stock in Apple. I remember my Snow Leopard disc that was supposed to arrive overnight didn't come until the next day. They did get my 3GS to me on day one though.

No guarantees from either site, get it where you can as early as you can and you should be fine.

Does it come sealed in the box like the Apple store ones. I know AT&T likes to sell a lot of restock/refurbished phones without telling you.

jesus christmas - its down again

bout to have to order myself a new macbook, cuz im about to throw this one out the window!
the site is down YET AGAIN!

Who knows if they crack it open for something? You never know what AT&T does.

Just want to make sure it is sealed. Giving one to the wife as a present.

Can I do this through AT&T for delivery on the 24th and not have to pay until the phone ships or do I have to pay now?
