AT&T Plan Upgrage Question

I have got 4 phones on my plan. The phone that I use isn't availible for an upgrade until 2009. However, I have another phone that is eligible for an upgrade (wife's). Can I use that phone number to upgrade in order to get the updgrade iphone price but then use it as my phone?

my friend has done with that his mom's upgrade because she never uses it. so I'm gonna say you can...but not 100% positive on that. Confirm anyone??

You can use that phone to upgrade, but the iPhone will have the phone number for that phone, so your wife's phone number will be associated with the iPhone..

You won't be able to upgrade using your wife's phone and have your number associated with the iPhone..
