AT&T Preorder?

I don't have an ATT account right now. Due to coverage, I need ATT. Also, I have no cellular devices right now, other than a flip phone + iPad.

Can I preorder the iPhone 6, then activate it or whatever upon taking it to the ATT Store?

Also, how do I buy ATT iPhones as gifts to others?

What if I were to join a family plan on a family members account, which I plan on doing? Would I be able to do that?

Or can use an unlocked Tmo iPhone for ATT?

second question first..yes.

first question - log in through your family members account and add a line (or port a number if necessary). Word of caution - depending on the amount of lines they have doing this may trigger a credit check and could delay you getting your phone.
