So I just got back from waiting in line at the AT&T store, and when I went to get a 3G S they told me that only my dad could get one since I was changing a few things about the plan. They said that since he was the one who signed up for the account he has to come in to do it, even though I'm authorized to make changes to the account. Is this true? Does he really have to be there even though I'm authorized on the account?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

I think the details state primary account holder must be present.

Yes, he has to be there.
