Hi, I'm new, this is my first post. My husband, daughter and I bought IPhones last week. We live in Southwest Michigan and have always used Centennial Wireless. The reception was perfect. We live close to Lake Michigan and Centennial was the only carrier that would work. Reception with AT&T is so inconsistant. I sometimes cannot receive calls or they are dropped. I'm able to use the internet fine most everywhere, but as a phone it is not acceptable. My question is about AT&T buying Centennial and how this might improve service. Does anyone know if AT&T will use the Centennial towers in Michigan? In the south the towers were sold to Verizon, but I can't find anything on what will happen here. We really want to keep out IPhones, but can't if we can't get acceptable reception. We have a really great rep at the AT&T store, but no one seems to know what will happen or if our reception will improve.
