I knew this would happen, just ordered a 16gb yesterday to be shipped to the store since they were out. When I go back to pick it up which will most likely be after the 10th, I'll see if they have the 32gb on hand instead and just pay the difference.

I am thinking of purchasing the HTC One and testing it out until the 32GB S4 is in stores on Friday. I understand there is a $35 restock fee. Is this a bad idea?

buy the One at a place, where there is no restocking fee, such as Walmart, Best Buy, etc

Are you sure that is possible? Do they have the same 14 day return policy? Also, how do I know BB will have the 32GB Samsung in stock?

I got my phone from target they have a 30 day return policy but you have 14 days to reclaim your upgrade with ATT. No restocking fee either.

Who activates the phone? I want to make sure I still get my unlimited data plan. Sorry for all questions!

Awesome. I will be sure to stop there. I checked on Target.com and HTC One is not sold in stores, at least that is what it says.

It won't be listed at Target.com. These are Kiosks ran by radio shack parent company nextworth. My wife held the phone in her hand there. She is probably going to pick it up there next month.

Android noob question here -

I'll be swapping out my 16GB S4 for the 32GB version ASAP. My question - how do I backup my current S4 and eventually restore?

I hope this is true and that they are available in store. I was going to head to the ATT store on Wednesday, but if the 32GB's are coming this week then I can wait a couple days.

Check out the app Helium on the Play Store. It should do what you're looking for.

If you ever root, Titanium Backup is what you'll want. But you don't have to be rooted to use Helium.
