AT&T: Ships on 14-21 days?

I placed my order around 7 (central time) this morning. FINALLY just got my confirmation email.
It reads:
Thank you for your recent order. Your iPhone will ship in approximately 14 to 21 days*. All orders are processed on a first come, first served basis.

As it is 12 hours later and the Apple site still shows shipping for delivery on the 14th, I might just blow a gasket if I don't get this thing for a month.

You probably should have considered Apple.com! Even if it's down for a few hours, you will still get it before the carriers.

Sorry, posting from and iPhone. None of those threads were on the first two pages of the forum on the iPhone.
