Currently, I have the SMS 1500 text package, but looking at my previous few month's billing statments, I tend to only send/receive a total of around 500 SMS texts per month. Thus, I am considering downgrading to the 200 text package. But I have a question in regards to this. According to AT&T, each text I receive over the 200 limit, I would be charged 10 cents. So say I go over the the SMS limit by 250 messages (and I am not a math person at all). Is AT&T going to charge me an additional $2.50 or $25.00 for the excess text messages? I'm trying to cut my monthly bill down a little (even with my premire discount through work). But If I'm going to be charged an extra $25 for text overages, then I'll just stick with my current 1500 text plan.

Since you have a FAN, if you search for a thread about ATT codes in this forum you'll find out how to get 1500 texts for 8.99 or the one I have which is 750 texts for 7.50

There's an app for that....

:)

You actually had to ask what .10 x 250 is?

Op you can send and recieve text through your email for free. You can also download apps that allow you to do this.

Not at all the worst, it could have been another "should I buy now or wait" thread about the iPhone/MacBooks because of next week. At least it added some humor to our days.

Wow! Thread of the year. I'll take a wild stab and say you're a product of our wonderful public school system.

reminds me of the failblog post of not being able to differentiate between $0.002 and 0.002 Cents.

Basic math FTW
