Thinking of switching to T-Mobile, colleague of mine with an iPhone 12 Pro Max was getting 400+ on 5G 😄

Anyone getting faster speeds on AT&T? I was on the phone with ā€œadvance tech supportā€ they didn’t know what the speed 5G was supposed to be. At work I get maybe 14mbps down on LTE/5G ā€œcongestedā€ network he says.

I have gotten over 400mb down on AT&T. They seem to be actively rolling out more mid-band coverage in my area (5G+). It is very fast. If only on 5G, then I get around 50-100mb. Still good for my needs.

I've been on AT&T for decades, and the reason is, if you travel to remote areas, you have coverage....you may not have great data coverage, but you can make a phone call. I had friend that was with me on many of those trips that was on T-Mobile, and he didn't have coverage in many areas where AT&T did.....these were very remote areas in the southwestern US (Utah, Arizona etc.). T-Mobile may be better now however, so your mileage may vary....
