i just called my local AT&T store in hopes of them being able to tell me how many iphones they will have in stock tomorrow at 8. They informed me they have not received there shipments yet, but plan on getting them tonight. They also told me they believe they will be getting quite a lot of them in. When the sales associate could tell i was worried of the possibility of them selling out he told me they are also scheduled for more shipments Saturday.

Settles my fears of empty shelves for tomorrow. haha.

I think this depends on how many 1st generation iPhone they sold. This will set a better estimate on how many iPhones the store will get.

I think if they go by that, there will be shortages everywhere. People forget that the main factor for people not buying last year was the price. Now that the phone has been subsidized heavily, it opens the door for more people to purchase.
