AT&T Store Limit

The AT&T store says they only allow one phone per person. I am trying to get a second phone for my wife, but she will be at work when the store opens. Can I just bring a random second person with me to be able to get the second phone?

if you can get to an apple store they will allow two per person.

I don't get off work til 7:30am. I wouldn't make it to an apple store in time.
