Will I be able to upgrade? I thought I read something about not being able to subsidize phones anymore or something.

The last phone I got a "discount" on was my 5S back in 2013.

I don't have AT&T Next or anything - sorry for asking a dumb question like this but there's too much info floating around out there.

Thanks all.

Dial *639# and than hit talk to check ur upgrade status. *new#

As long as u don't have late payments and are 24 months from last upgrade u will be eligible for full subsidy upgrade.

What I got is "This line is eligible for a NEXT installment plan upgrade. Or upgrade with a 2-year service agreement."

Only problem is that the iPhone I pre-ordered in 2013 was on 9/20 so technically my 2 year wouldn't be until 9/20/2015 right? :(

No. U should be fully eligible. Usually can fully subsidized upgrade within the same month I are eligible

Mine says

"Congratulations! This line is eligible for an AT&T NEXT installment plan upgrade. Or upgrade with a 2-year service agreement. Upgrade fees may apply. Our fastest way to order is att.com/upgrade."
