I was looking through my options on AT&T and noticed this. Did anybody else notice that tethering is up and running on AT&T?

While most people did know about tethering, this was unnecessary. I have a hard time believing people that uses facepalm actually has any friends in real life.

I have a hard time believing people saying others on forums have no friends in real life have any real friends in real life.

Didn't realize everybody already knew about this. How come AT&T didn't advertise? A mod can go ahead and delete.

also, I still dont know what /facepalm means?

put your face in the palm of your hand....this gesture has a meaning hopefully you can figure it out.

How does that even make sense? Why is the iPhone forum always the most juvenile and disrespectful?

Yes, it was announced a while back. Did you miss the whole "it costs $20 a month and you can only get it if you lose your Unlimited data plan" conversations? It's not really viable without jailbreak on an unlimited data plan. The way AT&T has it set up now, you're limited to the 2GB plan, and you have one 2GB bucket for both the tethering and your regular iPhone use for the month.

The prices are ridiculous. You could go with T-Mobile and get a webConnect usb device and pay only $40 for 5GB w/o Overage Fees or $25 for 200MB. While the speed might not be as fast in most areas, it's still a hell of a lot cheaper.

Guess we all can't be as mature as you telling others they have no real friends. I will try to be more respectful as you.

A facepalm is used when someone says something shockingly stupid, which the OP did not. Even if he did, it is rude to facepalm anyone.

If you are a person who enjoys making people feel stupid, people won't want to be your friends.

Your post doesn't make sense because pointing out the rudeness of others has no relation to the ability to make friends.

It looks like a way to get us that have unlimited to get rid of it for tethering. Not gonna happen.

Nope it's not going to get me to relinquish my unlimited data either. MyWi will be the first solution I buy once the jailbreak comes out. That way I don't have to worry about AT&T bricking my phone if I have custom carrier software installed. Then I will have the best of both worlds.
