I recently purchased the iPad 2 w/ wifi and I'm wondering if anyone has upgraded to the tethering plan offered by at&t? I have some questions for those who have:

1-I currently have unlimited data. Is it true if I add a tethering plan I will loose my unlimited data?

2-From the att side and the rep i spoke to said there's only a 4gig plan which is $45. No 2gig?

3-If I have a family plan do the others share the tether plan or is the tether plan specific to only one of the phone numbers?

4-Should i wait for OS4.3 to be jailbroken?

Thanks in advance!

1. Yes you will lose unlimited data

2. There is no 2g plan. The 4g adds 2g to your existing 2g data plan

3. Data plans are individual o the iPhone, you dont share them. So I
You would only need to tether one iPhone plan.

4. Probably but maybe not.

You have 2 options. 1 is to wait for the jailbreak, and the other is to y
Take one of your data plans and switch to tether.

1. yes

2. 4gb is the only option with tethering. You could always choose the 200mb or 2gb, but no tether.

3. no sharing

4. maybe
