At&t to other providers SMS texting.. unable to read korean

Why is it that i cannot read SMS texts in korean from other providers from other providers such as tmobile while they are able to receive and read my texts in korean?

is there a fix or something i can do to get around this?

Probably not. Whether or not you can read asian characters is dependent upon whether the mobile service providers have their equipment set up to send the double-byte characters via SMS. I know that T-mobile doesn't do this... not sure about anyone else

you might try google voice?
