iPhone 14 Pro AT&T Trade In Deal - will it expire?

My wife and I have iPhone 12 Pros that we bought at launch using the AT&T trade-in deal with offered at the time. We’re really interested in the 14 Pro but we have 8 payments left. Paying them off now to upgrade would forfeit almost $400 in monthly credits.

I’m content to wait it out before upgrading, but I read that the current deal is “for a limited time”.

My question is, does anyone recall of AT&T ended the trade in deals last year or the year before, and how long after launch that was?

They always have deals. Especially trade in ones. I wouldn't worry.

Not sure if it’s true but I read they end on the 15th of September. I had the same issue, paid my remaining balance and got the new phone on preorder since I was scared the deal would end

Where did you read that at? Highly doubt they would end the deal before the 14 is released. They are after all trying to sell as many phones as they can.

Nope. They kept it going for months last 2 years.

The deals will always be there but they may not always be as generous. After a few months the trade-in values will likely drop.

Ok that's good to hear. I know they will change but hope to not be rushed. That said, I will probably pull the trigger sooner rather than later. The new Pro is a nice upgrade over our 12 Pros.
