AT&T transfer data plan to new Apple watch

I currently have an apple watch 4 cellular. Im getting my new Apple watch 6 tomorrow. Does AT&T allow automatic transfer of data plans/cellular service during the setup of the new watch or does something different have to happen?

Yes. The watch will prompt you if you want to keep your cellular plan.
