I don't know how it happened, and I'm not going to turn it off just to see if it's permanent, but for some reason I have FaceTime over LTE now on my iPhone 5. Can anyone else check to see if this works for them?

Still doesn't work for me either. South Florida here with iPhone 5 and unlimited.

Your will eventually go back to "off" if I'm not mistaken.

Probably so, but I didn't even turn this one on to begin with. I'll just enjoy it while it lasts.

3GB/mo plan on AT&T, my facetime is active and working over cell. In bay area, CA

I had it on my unlimited grandfathered LTE before I left for Asia in November, just got back yesterday, turned off airplane mode and I notice I can't do FaceTime via cellular anymore :(

Mine actually stopped working a few hours later. I tried making a FaceTime call which then asked for wifi. I then also noticed my data connection had been frozen so I restarted my phone.

I got 5GB data plan on my iP5 and last week after rebooted, I got Facetime over LTE turned on. So ATT appears to give 5GB data plan another perk. Try yours.
