AT&T Unlock on iOS 6

This may seem silly, but I had AT&T Authorized Unlock on my iPhone 4 last week. If I upgrade to iOS 6 before selling on Friday, will it preserve this unlock since its "authorized" and not software?

Your unlock will be fine. Once a carrier has unlocked your phone, it's permanent. Software updates do not change this.

Just had my unlock go through today and I was still on iOS5. I did the back and up and restore and it loaded iOS6 and the unlock was still there.
