I picked up a new AT&T iPhone 17 pro max from Best Buy on luanch day paid out right for it (went true Best Buy because I have their total tec so I get apple care free for 2years) I activated the phone with AT&T every thing works great but when I try to get AT&T to unlock the phone they say I have to wait 60 days. Ok not a big deal I can wait.
What has me worried tough is AT&T is also saying (Looks like the IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device.)
Anyone else experience this how did you get it resolved.

What value do you see in Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock? If it says "No SIM restrictions" then your phone is already unlocked.
