I am an AT&T iPhone 4s user with a grandfathered unlimited plan and frequent throttling victim. Residing in Chicago, I've been hit with the throttle at about 2gb.

Noticing ramped up speeds this evening, I ran a speed test. I was throttled twelve days into my billing cycle at 2100mb. Tonight, with 8 days left, I tested at 3G speeds at 2874mb.

The only thing I've changed on my phone this evening was using the jailbroken app FakeCarrier to alter my logo to the ironic "Throttled" name, it previously was another alter name before. Guess my angst is makin me eat crow tonight.
