I've had an iPhone 4 since August 2011. A few months ago I texted AT&T to see when I could upgrade and like always I got this text: "A full discount on a standard device or iPhone upgrade is not available at this time but you may qualify on 03/26/2013. We can offer you a discounted iPhone upgrade at 2-yr commitment pricing + $250 along with a new 2-yr commitment and an $36 upgrade fee. Please visit a participating iPhone sales location for pricing on this offer."

Today I received a text that said: This line is eligible for an early upgrade with a partial discount off of the full retail price when you sign up for a 2-year service agreement...
Can someone please explain to me what this means?

It means if you want an iPhone 5 now a 16gb would cost you 450 or you can wait till 3/26 and pay 200.
